JPD noted in their release Friday that their chemical munitions were non-burning/non-incendiary. A 42-year-old man died in a trailer home fire early Thursday morning near Carthage. JPD SWAT was then dispatched to the scene where they also attempted to force them out but still to no avail. It was here that authorities attempted to coax the suspect out of the building, but despite their attempts they were unsuccessful in doing so. After obtaining a search warrant, officers and detectives with JPD arrived at the residence around 9:30 PM. An autopsy has been ordered.ĭetectives have however, developed a suspect in the incident: The following evening detectives learned that their lead was located at 2201 S.
